DAIRY PRODUCE PRICES
BUTTER SLIGHTLY EASIER. CHEESE MARKET WEAKER. Easier conditions have developed in the London butter market and both New Zealand and Australian are quoted on a slightly lower basis. New Zealand finest is now 90/- to 92/- per cwt., against 91/- to 92/- last week. Australian is similarly lower, while Danish has remained steady. The market generally is qiA't. It is reported that buyers are awaiting the results of higher retail prices. The cheese market is much weaker, New Zealand white having declined by 2/6 per cwt to 47/-, and coloured by .1/- to- 51/-, in spite of the fact that there are no Australian supplies in the market.
