Mr Reg. Morgan, programme organiser of IYA (better known as “Uncle Beg.”) is staying with Mr and Mrs Maborlv for a few days.
The Mayor and Mrs C. H. Priestley arid Miss J. Priestley, who have been spending several days in Auckland, returned home yesterday.
Miss D. Spooner, of Palmerston North, and formerly of Cambridge, is spending the week-end here with friends. On Tuesday she will go on to Auckland to take up her new appointment as matron of tire Methodist Children’s Home at Epsom.
