HARVEST FESTIVAL
ST. PAUL'S METHODIST CHUECH. FITTING CELEBRATION. Harvest festival is always a happy and successful function at the Cambridge Methodist Church, and the celebration held on Sunday last was no exception to the rule. The church had been very attractively decorated, large bowls of beautiful flowers, together with masses of waving maize, sheaves of grain and choice shrubs being used to advantage. A fine lote of fruit, wellgrown vegetables, honey, and 'Other fruits of the harvest made a brave show, and altogether the display was a very comprehensive one. Thero were large congregations at both morning and evening services, these being conducted by the local minister, the Rev. J. W. Parker. A large choir, under the baton of Mr E. J. Easter, rendered two harvest anthems at each service. These wore much enjoyed, while the hearty singing of harvest hymns, was entered into with igood spirit by the congregation. SALE AND SOCIAL. Last evening ..the usual harvest festival social gathering was held in St. Paul's schoolroom. Mr E. J. Easter presided. A short programme of musical items was provided, every item being most enjoyable:—Pianoforte duet, Mrs Skellern and Miss Gwen Beer; song with violin obligato, Miss Nona Easter; instrumental trio, Miss Easter (piano), Mr Eon Easter (violin), Mr A.
