BOWLING
THE LEAMINGTON CLUB. OFFICIAL OPENING OF NEW GREEN. The official opening of the new bowling green at the Leamington Domain is to take place next Saturday afternoon. A general meeting of the newlyformed Leamington Club was held in the Domain pavilion on Saturday evening, when Mr F. ff. Pemberton presided over a good attendance, including several ladies. A strong ladies' committee was set up to arrange fo.r afternoon tea on Saturday next. Mr R. Webber was appointed selector and to arrange order of play, etc. The green superintendent, Mr Hulme, reported that he had been busy soiling up and rolling and he hoped to have the green in good order for Saturday. A largo number of invitations have been sent out, and with fine weather the club should have a very successful opening. .
