WOOL CHEQUE FKOM 800 SHEEP. An illustration of how the low prices for primary products have, affected the farmers was disclosed at the monthly meeting of the Waipa County Council at Te Awamutu yesterday. ' One farmer received £(52 for a clip from 800 sheep, which amount, just covered his rates for the year. In normal times tho return from such a flock would have been more than double that amount. :'
