Several people in Stratford arc remarking that since the earthquake the summit of Mount Egmont has changed in appearance. It is pointed out that the top of the shark’s tooth and the lip of the crater on one side appear to have disappeared. The summit of the mountain has been obscured for most of the day by clouds, but the fleeting glimpses obtainod certainly appear, to indicate that thore is some foundation for the opinions expressed.
