FRANKTON SALES. BEEF DECLINES. Beef again showed a marked decline at the weekly stock sales at the Frankton yards on Tuesday, while the quotations for sheep were also easier. Pig prices were a shade firmer. Ox beef was not yarded in as large numbers as usual, though there was a full yarding of cow beef. Pigs: Baeoners were penned in average numbers, those sold first showing an increase on recent prices, while as the market 'was satisfied prices fell to a par with late rates. The bidding for a small yarding of stores and weaners was brisk, and an increase on last week’s prices was obtained. We quote: Baeoners £2 10/- to £2 15/-; heavy porkers £2 3/- to £2 10/-; lighter do. £1 19/- to £2 2/6; stores £1 10/- to £1 15/-; slips £1 5/6 to £1 7/6; weaners 15/- to £1 1/-.
