CUP TO DESERT GLOW

The Ohinemuri Jockey Club held their .annual meeting at Pacroa on .Saturday, in fine ' weather, and before a large attendance.

The totalisator handled £28,050, compared with £30,407 10/- on the first day last year, a decrease of £1757 10/-.

The results were-:

Ivarangahake Handicap, 54 furs, for two-vcar-olds. —s—Tradesman5 —Tradesman 1, 3 Wild Time 2, 2—Grand Spirit 3. Won by a length. Time 1.10. Novice Handicap, 5 furs. —2—Cliromadyne 1, I—Principall—Principal 2, 3 —Royal Visitor 3. Won by two and a half lengths. Time 1.8 3-5.

Ohincmuri Cup, 1 mile 3 furs. —1—• Desert Glow 1, 2—Eoyal Doulton 2, 4 Maori Boy 3. Won by half a head. Time 2.22.
