THE CAMBRIDGE CLUB.

CALDWELL CUP.

On Saturday last the second and final round of the Caldwell Cup, medal handicap, was played. A few. who returned cards in the first round did not play in this round, nevertheless quite a good number were on hand to fight out the issue. A strong westerly breeze with intermittant showers made play difficult and very few good cards were returned. The result is as follows: —

WAIRAKAU CLUB,

ECLECTIC COMPETITION.

The nine-hole eclectic played last Saturday on the Wairakau links resulted in Mrs Garland and Miss Dean being first and second respectively in the ladies' competition, while in the men's McDell and C. Kirkby tied for first place.

Despite blustery conditions the atten dance of members was excellent.
