NOTABLE AYRSHIRE CATTLE

SALE OP PEDIGREE STOCK. “Kintockcr,” Cambridge, the home of Mr C. M. Watt, will be the meeting place, next Thursday, of Ayrshire breeders from all over the province, when Mr Watt’s famous herd of pedigree Ayrshires will be sold by the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company. Included in the offering of 72 head is the senior herd sire, “Angus McKay,” winner of many prizes in the show ring, including champion at Matamatn. The original herd was founded by the late Mr. Watt, father of the vendor. who by importations and purchases secured many notable animals, and descendants of these are in the. present herd. The herd is in splendid condition and is one of the most famous in the Dominion. Ayrshires, in view of recent butterfat performances, have beori coining well to the front of late, and it is expected that there will be keen competition at the sale..
