' (Contributed). The Frivolity Minstrels, under the leadership of Mr AV. Fenton, again visited Kaipaki on Thursday evening las ( t, and gave another of their.delightful concerts/. Tho hall was well filled with an appreciative audience, and things wentWith'a swing.

Vocal and instrumental items were rendered by Mr Alt’. Outrun, .Mr Ted Quill, The Wee Two, and that ever popular favourite, Mr W. Fenton, who kept everyone in fits of laughter by his funny sayings and actions.

The character dancing of Miss Beryl King was a special feature of the evening. This young lady is a very clever dancer. In her Spanish dance she was particularly good, and well deserved the hoarty encoro sho’received.

At the closo of tho concert part of the programme, Mr J. Boyd spoke a few words of thanks to Mr Fenton undliis party, for providing such an enjoyable entertainment, and called for cheers for the visitors. This was carried by acclamation. Supper was then handed round, after which dancing was kept up till midnight. After expenses had been paid, Mr Fenton very kindly shared the proceeds with the Hall Committee. Mr Eichard Sexton’s . homo was totully destroyed by fire about 5 p.m. on Monday. Ho and his wifo and family were out milking the cows, and a neighbour gavo tho alarm. ' Much sympathy goes out to them, as they have a family of seven small sons and everything was lost.
