YOUNG HELPERS' LEAGUE. The animal" report of the Cambridge branch of the Young Helpers' League shows that the League had a satisfactory year's operations, and during the year ending December 31st last the sum of £Bl 4s lid was forwarded to the 'general secretary. Owing to the epidemic it was impossible to hold the annual concert, but in place of this a children's Paddy's Market was arrannged, resulting in the sum of £3l 10s 2d being raised. Donations' were received as follows: Mrs. Souter £5, Mr. Neville Souter £l, Mrs. Hopkirk £.l; making a total of £3B 10s 2d. This,was disposed of as under: Cheque for £3(5 sent'to Miss Joyce, and the remainder kept in hand for picnic expenses. Mrs. Coupcr and Miss Brann kindly arranged a concert for the benefit of the fund. This proved most enjoyable and successful, the nett .proceeds amounting to £9 7s. The thanks yi the committee' arc due to these ladies and all who assisted for their valuable help. The annual picnic, held at Mr. and Mrs. A. TV". Gane's residence passed off well. The children enjoyed the sports and also the good things provided by the ladies of the committee; The members' boxes yielded the sum of £27 5s 4UI and donations were received from: Mr. Geo. E. Clark £5, Mr. A. \V. Gane £2 10s, Mr. Gascoigne 10s 6d, Mrs. Bocae 10s, counter collection 2s OUI from Mr. Alf. Boycc. The membership shows a slight decrease. ;
