THREE WEEKS TO RUN. REACHING THE THREE MILLION ‘ • MARK. (By Telegraph—Press Association) . DUNEDIN, Saturday. The week which closed to-day has been one of the biggest in the history of the exhibition. The live days, Monday to Friday, added .138,062 to the grand attendance which is now- 2,588,J 014. Saturday is always relied on to 'reach the 30,000 mark which will bring the total for the week to 170,000 and the grand total'to about 2,618,000.. The week’s returns includes Easter Monday’s new record of 51,232, and* the attendance thereafter only once fell below .20,000. The exhibition has still three weeks to run and everyone is asking if the three million mark will be reached. A big crowd is looked for on Wednesday when a magnificent fireworks display of over sixty pieces, including a dozen big elaborate devices, will be presented and closing day, May Ist, is certain to produce an enormous attendance if the weather is kind; therefore it looks as if the desired goal may
be Avon., The Education' Court has' received urgent requests to take contingents from Palmcilston North, Wanganui, Waikaou, in Napier, Morrinsville, Tokomaru, Tolaga Bay to Polnie and Black’s Point in Rccfton. The schools parties will come to Dunedin during the last- Aveek of the month.
