SUCCESSFUL PADDY’S MARKET. RALLY FUND BENEFITS, The Girl Guides’*Paddy’s Market, which was held on Thursday, April 1, was quite a success, £l7 being raised, and this money will be used for the purpose of sending the girls to Auckland to attend a Guide rally. The parade will bo inspected at the Domain by His .Excellency, Sir Charles Fergusson, Lady Fergusson, and Lady Dairy m pie. Demonstrations will be given in fire drill, first aid, signalling, etc.. .
The Auckland Guides have kindly ar-. ranged for the accommodation of alt visitors to Auckland for the rally. The Cambridge Guides have to thank Mr Prichard for the interest he exhibits in their progress, and also for, arranging for the girls to have Friday afternoon off from school, thus enabling them to travel by the 12 o’clock train.
