The New Zealand Meat Producers Board has received a cable from its Representative at Bueno, 1 Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended 18th October, .1924, from Argentine and Uruguay:— 157,500 Quarters Chilled beef, 16,750 quarters Frozen beef, 14,344 carcases Frozen mutton. 19,847 carcases Frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent. of Europe during the same period totalled: — 126,250 quarters frozen beef, 18,321 carcases frozen mutton.
