LABOUR DAY; TOURNAMENT. ENJOYABLE DAY’S PLAY. The Cambridge Bowling Club was favoured with fine weather yesterday for its Labour Day tournament, though a very tricky wind played havoc with the calculations of most of the players. In the section ties Mclvor (s) 6 beat 8. R. James (s) 1. On the live heads Mclvor scored on the. first and a good two on the second and third heads. .James secured a one on the fourth. Mclvor took the next for one and the game.

In the other section tie, by good allround bowling, Hague’s team deleated McFariane’s by 6—o. The semi-finals and final will be played on Saturday afternoon next.
