OBITUARY
NORMAN FRED. PAUL. On Sunday the death occurred at the Waikato Hospital of Norman Fred. Paul, of Cambridge, aged 33 years. Deceased, who had previously enjoyed good health, was ordered into hospital last week with acute appendicitis, and underwent an operation for same, but despite every possible care and attention passed away on Sunday. Mr Paul, who is a returned soldier, came to Cambridge with his family only about five months ago from Taumarunui, where he was farming. Deceased fences a wife, two young children and relatives in Wanganui to mourn their loss. The funeral will leave the deceased’s late residence, Thornton Road, on Wednesday afternoon for the Cambridge Cemetery.
MRS. J. HENRICKSEN,
The death occurred, at her residence, Hall Street. Cambridge, on Sunday last, of Mrs Alicia Henricksen, wife of Mr J. Henrieksen, aged +8 years. Deceased had been ill for about a year, and was recently an inmate of the Waikato Hospital for a. lengthy period. She’ struggled against si deadly illness with great fortitude, and passed nwy peacefully.
The late Mrs Heyricksen was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John McConnell, well-known and highly esteemed residents- of Upper Waiwera. During her twelve years’ residence in Cambridge she was held in high esteem as a good, homely, hard-working woman. She leaves a husband and one daughter, aged ten years, with whom much sympathy is felt. 1 Mr Robt, McConnell, of Auckland, is a brother of deceased, the only remaining member of-her family.
The funeral takes place this afternoon at Cambridge.
