Thus competitors or visitors to the Competitions may depeiid on being able to return to Cambridge each night after the performances. Doubtless this convenience will be greatly appreciated.

At the sale, of pedigree Jerseys, on account of Mr V. K. Day. at Tamahere, conducted by the Farmers’ Auctioneering Co.. Ltd., two valuable animals were knocked down to Cambridge buyers. One bull calf was bought by Mr ,f. W. Garland, of Pukekura.. for 100gns, and another by Mr P. Colvin, at SOgns.

Much credit is due to the following committee responsible for the success of the function, viz., Mosdu'mes Gascoigne, Hart, Stopford, Cahill, Cowling, Cleary, McAsoy, Ilair and Bourke, Misses Hart and McDevitt, and numerous helpers.
