ORPHANS’ CLUB

VISITORS FROM HAMILTON The fortnightly meeting of the Cambridge Orphans’ Club, held on Thursday night, was rendered all the more interesting from the fact that there were present some twenty visiting brethren from Hamilton, who assisted very largely with the evening’s programme. The chair was occupied by Rev. Bro. Mortimer Jones, who was supported by the Von. Archdeacon Bro. Cowie, of Hamilton, and the president (Bro. Hodgson). There was a very large attendance of brethren, and the evening was voted a most enjoyable one by all present.

Maberlv, Bros. Roebuck and Litchwark contributed violin solos, Bro. J. Favlane humorous .Scotch items; Bro. Smales, humorous items; while Bro. Sharpe (Hamilton) gave exhibitions of memory tests.
