Miss Price, of Cambridge, is leaving for Otaki, where she will join the nursing staff of the Otaki Sanatorium.

Mr D. Donaldson, Mayor of Waihi, was a visitor to Cambridge on Tuesday, and was present at the community “sing” in the evening. A visitor to the Dominion is Mr Harmsworth, nephew of the late Lord Northcliffe. Mr Harmsworth, who is accompanied by Captain G. A. Thomas, is at. present .staying at Pohukura, in the Taihape district.

Members of the Cambridge W.C.T.U. will meet at Mrs Cocks’ residence tomorrow afternoon to bid good-bye to Mrs W. Iv. Watson, who is leaving the district.

At the meeting of the Borough Council on Wednesday evening, the Assistant Town. Clerk, Mr L. G. Ansell, was granted leave of absence for about one month, to enable him to undergo an operation.
