WISE MEN SAY-
The only substitute for great learning is common sense. Did you ever notice how few men there are who will slip up quietly behind your back and put money in your pocket ? A lover is a little bit of a man (or a woman) entirely surrounded by heart. A little foretalk would save much aftcrtalk. Want of thought hurts as much as want of heart. The most uncommon kind of sense is common sense. •Promises may get friends, but performances keep them. Fools make those inquiries afterwards which wise men make beforehand. He who bets is a bettor, and he who does not bet is better because he is no better. When you see a tripper’s name scratched upon the glass, you know he owns a diamond and his father owns an ass.
