.BUTTER AND CHEESE A BLOW MARKET Messrs Dalgety and Cm, Ltd., are in receipt of the following cable from their Head 6ffiee, London, under date, the 27th July:— Butter. —Market very slow at lower price. We quote: Now Zealand butter salted at 20(5/ to 208/ per cwt; Australian g.a.q., salted at 10(5/: Danish, salted at 208/; finest Australian, salted at 202/; finest Australian, unsalted at 204/.
Cheese. —New Zealand, white, at 8.8/ per cwt.; New Zealand, coloured, at 84/ per cwt.
