WELLINGTON, yestcrday. Tlic Government meteorologist, Mr D. C. Bates, reports as follows: — The indications are for south-easter-ly. winds, moderate to strong. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather. The night will probably be very cold. The barometer has a rising tendency.
