(To the Editor). ,Sir, —Pardon me for intruding upon your valuable/apace, but I wish to express my conviction Jthat a mistake is being made in the decision to allot the proceeds of the next “community A sing” collection to a denominational* cause. This, it appears to me, is the first step towards the exploitation of the movement for particular objects. Furthermore, I would respectfully ask you, sir, who constitute the committee that governs this movement? for I am not, aware that the public, have, yet been given an opportunity to have its representatives on the committee to determine such questions as may arise.— I am, etc., . “CARMEN.” Cambridge, July 23, 1922.
