SITTING IN CAMBRIDGE MI IATA R Y 1) E FAULT ERS At the Courthouse, Cambridge, this morning, before Air H. A. A’oung, S.AL, a charge of having been absent frorfy drill on several occasions was preferred - against James Alexander McLcish (aged 17). The defendant; SergeantMajor Culloy stated, had refused to wear the uniform issued to him and had been warned several times of his obligations under the Defence Act. A (line of £2 with costs 7/ was imposed. Francis Henry Joyce (aged 21), who was also charged with failure to attend military parades at Cambridge, showed that he lmd not been residing within the four-mile radius as defined w by the regulations of the Defence Act. Defendant was convicted and llisclia-rg-ed.
