Wn OF CLOSING INVESTIGATE The close the Te Waikato Sanatorium, Cambridge, was re* u ferred to by the Minister for PublJr.Health, the Hon. C. J. Parr, who said the closing of the institution had been postponed as the result of representations made by the Wairato Hospital Board and other local authorities in that district. Mr Parr said he proposed visiting the sanatorium next week in company with the Director-General of Public Health. Half the beds were not in use and the expense of running the sanatorium was abnormally high. He would probably meet representatives of thev local bodies that protested against being closed with a view to- diseussingWj the position with them. —Herald. '
