POWER BOARD ELECTION.
MR A. WILKINSON TOPS TKR POLL. The election of the Cambridge Electric Power Board took place yeste ay and though a large poll did not result, a very fair interest was shown in the matter ,and motor cars were flyih'jj' about quite busily. The main interest was centred in the election of two members to represent the Cambridge Borough, for which five candidates were offering. The general opinion about the town was that Mr Mervyn Wells was a “certainty” for one seat and this opinion proved correct.
