NOTICE is hereby given that the above Society is now paying SIXPENCE per Upper Beak for all Hawk’s beaks received, at the Office, Kitchener Street, Auckland. Good money to bo easily earned. S. If elected, I shall do my best to continue the work of the Borough on practically the same lines as it has neon conducted during the past four years. It is .my intention to complete the Street Work, for which money was borrowed in 1914. This includes finishing Vietoria/Street from tho Bank of New South Wales to the Church of England corner; also Hall Street, Williams Street and Thornton Road. To carry on only absolutely essential work during war time, avoiding whenever possible, work necessitating the purchase of metals at present prices. To commence a scheme for the better advertisement of Cambridge as a holiday resort, and to do my utmost to add to its attractiveness in every possible way. I have been a member of the Council for the past four years, during which term I have worked hard in the interests of the Borough, and I appeal to you with confidence for your support on Election day, t .
