Rutherford- as member of the Auckland Land Board, .The Bltbam “ Argus ” announces that an effort is to be made to get Mr R. McNab to stand for the Patea seat., ■ r Mr H. K. Burns, headmaster at Newmarket school, has been appointed an inspector under the Auckland Education Board. Bishop Cleary, of Auckland, who was a visitor to Cambridge for the week-end, left yesterday for the King Country. He will open a new? Maori Church at Ongarue.
