A Great Comic Opera.

—♦ — THE ARCADIANS. Much interest is taken.in ‘‘The Arcadians,” the popular and tuneful comedy to be staged at the Town Hall on next Wednesday evening, Feb. 4th. The opera will be interpred in its entirely and on an elaborate scale and interpreted by an exceptionally strong cast of characters including Mr D. B. O’Connor as Peter Doody, Mr John Ralston as Jack Meadows, Mr H, Charters as Bobby, Mr Bruce Clark as Sir George Paddock, Mr Bertie Nickolson as James Smith alias Simplicitas, Miss Ida Leggatt as Sombra, Miss Bertha Hunter as Mrs Smith, Miss Cliff Palmer as Chrysea and Miss Blanche Miller as Eileen Cavanagh. ‘‘The Arcadians” has proved itself one of the biggest money makers of all the comic operas introduced to the colonies. Its success is easily accounted for. It is tuneful and bright and through all is a breeziness which is quite refreshing. The box plan is at Philp’s.
