Adelaide, Monday. The visitors scores in the second innings are as follow Tuckwell 21, Hickmott 5, Sneddon 52, Reese (not out) 130, Taylor 43, Sandman (net out) 12, extras 18- With six wickets down for 287 runs the innings was declared closed.
South Australia, requiring 217 to win, opened their second innings, the scores following Mayne 19, Smith (not out; 76, Rundell 19, Willsmore 8, Gooden (not out) 36, extras 5.
The receipts of the match have exceeded the guarantee.
Snedden batted 100 minutes, and hit three tourers.
Reese hit 'fiercely and hit up 100 for 100 minutes’ play, the last 50 runs in 35 minutes. He hit one sixer and twelve fours.
Taylor was in for 130 minutes. The match was drawn.
