A proposal is afoot to purchase the Waikato Bacon CoA plant at Frankton, on behalf of a co-operative company, and further information dealing with question is to be submitted to 'll meeting in a few days’ time. The quantity of butter in boxes held in store throughout New Zealand- on May 21st, according to returns furnished by the Dairy Commissioner of the Agricultural Department, are rs follows:—■Auckland 13,150 boxes; New Plymouth 5740; Patea 1819; Wellington 8306; Lyttelton 366; Dunedin 2041; total 32,422. The quantity of butter in store at the end of May, 1910, was 41273 boxes.
