NORTH ISLAND EGG-LAYING COMPETITION

COMMENCED AT CAMBRIDGE Ist MAY, 1907. The 38th week of the competition promoted by the North Island Egglaying Competition Association, Limited, at Cambridge, was concluded on Friday, 24th Jan., 1908. The following particulars are supplied by Mr A. B. Trythall, secretary and manager to the Association:— The number of eggs laid during the week was 1788, being an average of 21-80 eggs per pen. Total number of eggs laid since Ist May is 68,228 being an average of 807-65 eggs per pen.
