At Messrs Ellis and Burnand’s factory, Hamilton, the employes made a presentation to Mr John Park, the engineer, who is leaving the firm’s employ.

A new creamery is shortly to be erected by the Manawaru Co-operative Dairy Company on Messrs Suttic-Bros.’ property, on the Gordon Eoad. The timber is now on the ground and building will begin immediately, in order to have the factory ready by the beginning of spring.-

The caretaker at the State Farm at Ruakura showed the Times a sample of silage, put down at Papatoitoi by him no" less than four years ago. The silage, maize, was in perfect order, showing the keeping properties of maize for this pur-, pose. The silage was made in stack. .
