THE TRANSVAAL MINISTRY. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION). (Received March 4, 9.85 p.m.) Pretoria, March 4. It is officially announced that Mr Louis Botha becomes Premier and Minister of Agriculture, Mr Jacob Devilliers Attorney - general and Minister of Mines, and Mr Rissik Minister of Lands and Native Affairs. Mr Smuts, in a letter to Mr J. X. Merriman, warmly acknowledges the support the Hetvolk has received from the British community, without which the victory gained would have been impossible.
