UNTIL further notice, Steamers will run between Pokeno and Ngaruawahia daily (Sundays included), connecting with trains to and from Auckland and Frankton. Passengers from South will leave Frankton foi Ngaruawahia at 10 a.m. (after arrival of trains from Cambridge and Te Awarautu) and will join steamer at Ngaruawahia for Pokeno. On arrival of steamer at Pokeno a train will be in readiness to convey passengers to Auckland. Passengers holding through tickets taken out on or before Monday, January 14, will be conveyed free by steamer. Passengers who do not hold through tickets will be booked to Pokeno or Ngaruawahia, as the case may be, and will require to pay their own steamer fare (7s) between Pokeno and Ngaruawahia. Passengers are advised to take as little l u gg a S e as possible, as accommodation on steamers is limited. The Railway Department is not responsible for conveyance of passengers by steamers.
