SLY-GROG SELLING IN KING COUNTRY.
RAID BY THE POLICE,
(per press association.) Auckland, This Day. G The police made a wholesale raid ou hop-beer shops at Makatoke, in the King Country, on the Whangainarino plains. Fifteen barrels were seized, eleven in the bush, and the balance with malt and a brewing apparatus, in a tent. A raid at Raurimu is also reported.
