CAMBRIDGE ODDFELLOWS SPORTS.
Between five hundred and six hundred v people were present at the above fourth
; annual sports, which were held on Victoria Square at Cambridge on New Year’s The attendance was not so large -<as in previous years, doubtless owing to Fdhe threatening state of the weather—..drizzling showers falling at intervals ? during the afternoon, and to counter attractions. The gathering passed off .-successfully, the officials working well to make it interesting to the spectators. .In the majority of the events, there were ;good fields, and the racing was of a very fair description; but there was a good deal of delay in starting some of the ■ events, which the committee should sec 'is remedied in future.
