VERNOR'S ROYAL IRISH DRAMA GO.

Mr Chas. Vernor and his Irish Drama Company is announced to pay a return visit to Cambridge on Monday and Tuesday next, and will play the well-known Irish dramas “ Arrah-na-Pogue ” and “ Robert Emmet.” It is now some time since Mr Vernor appeared here, and on that occasion he left a favourable impression with the general of Cambridge. The first piece to be produced—" Arrah-na-Pogue is from the pen of the great play-writer, Dion Boucicault, and in which Mr Vernor takes the part of "Shaun the Post." It has been played by him with great success throughout the world. , The second production will be the great patriotic play “ Robert Emmet,” written and played with equally great success by Mr Vernor. The said productions being under the personal direction of Mr Vernor (an artist and manager of world-wide experience) greatly increases the interest therein and the expectation in each event will be realised to the full. Each play will be mounted and staged in keeping with the times. New scenery and mechanical effects will be brought by the company. Intending patrons may book their seats at Mr Wilkinson’s, where the box plan is now open, without any extra charge.
