WAIKATO CENTRAL, AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the above was held at the Farmers’ Club Room, Cambridge, on Saturday afternoon. Present: Messrs John Fisher, (President), lb Reynolds, E. Allen, A. L. Souter, J. Hooker, C. J. Potts, R.' Fisher, E. A. Death, A. W. Gane, R. Fisher. SANITATION, A letter was read from the Town Clerk re sanitation at the grandstand. The secretary was instructed to arrange with the Borough Council for sanitary pans at the showground. CONDOLENCE. Resolved, that the secretary write to the relatives of the late II." Windsor, condoling with them and expressing the Society’s appreciation of Mr Windsor. THE EXHIBITION. Resolved, that the Exhibition Committee be informed that the Association is fully in accord with the action of the committee, and will co-operate with them in providing a suitable exhibit for the but consider that it is desirable that the counties and boroughs should contribute the amount required. The President was appointed delegate to represent the Association on the Waikato Exhibition Committee. It was resolved that Mr Taylor be requested to send his fat bullock and cows to the Canterbury exhibition and that the Association guarantee him against any loss; and that Messrs Clark and Sons, W. Souter and Co., and A. F. Stone and Co. be asked to assist in securing photos of turnips and other prociuce mr the exhioition. The following gentlemen were appointed to assist in carrying out this object.—Messrs R. Fisher, R. Reynolds and E. Allen. CONFERENCE. The President was requested to represent the Association at the Conference with Mr 11. J. Greenslade, M.11.R. SECTION NEAR SHOWGROUND. The President’s action in securing the section near the Show ground was appio\cd of, and Mr McDonald was granted a sub-lease of same at the same rent and terms as paid by the Association. The Association has the sole right of the allotment for fourteen days each vear for show purposes. The President "and secretary were authorised to draw up the agreement with Mr McDonald. THE SECRETARY. Mr E. Vcalc was re-appointed secretary, at the same remuneration (£105). DAIRY COW COMPETITION. Messrs M. Rutler, J. Gane, R. Fisher and J. Hooker were appointed a committee for the dairy cow class.
