Mr Cook to Form a Ministry. Received 9.25 am.., 23rd. Melbourne, June 23. Mr Cook hna accepted the invitation to form a Ministry. Perth, June 23. It is reported that over fourteen hundred persons voted twice at Fremantle. Received 5.5 p.m., 22nd. Sydney, June 22. The Illawarra recount has been completed, and confirms the election of the Labour candidate. Mr Fisher declined to discuss the political position, but said that with a“working majority of one in the House of Representatives, and a more than substantial minority in the Senate, Mr Cock will have a difficult task to carry on the business of the country.
