WEDDING
TT WOODHEAD ROSS
A very pretty wedding took place in the To Aroha Presbyterian church on Wednesday last, the contracting parlies being Miss Elizabeth (Bessie) Ross and Mr Fred B. Woodhead, both of Waihou. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked very pretty in a dress of ivory satin. She wore the customary veil and orange blossoms and carried a beautiful bouquet. The bridesmaids were Miss Gertie Ross, sister of the bride, and Miss Woodhead, sister of the bridegroom. Both wore dainty pink silk frocks and large black hats with pink trimmings. The bridegroom was supported by Mr Cecil Muir as best man, and Mr Hutson as groomsman. The officiating clergyman was Rev. W. Blair. After the ceremony the bridal party and a large number of guests drove to the residence 1 of the bride’s parents at Waihou, where a tempting repast awaited them.
Subsequent to the reception Mr and Mrs Woodhead left by motor car on their honeymoon tour, the bride travelling in a tweed costume.
