WAIKATO SHOW LAMBS FOR LONDON.
The fat lambs shown in the export class at the Waikato Show at Claudelands last week have been killed, and frozen by the Auckland Farmers’ Freezing Company by whom they will be sent to London, where they will be judged ns to their suitability for that market. The particulars of the lambs are as follows, there being five in each lot. Pen 1199: A. Loris; weight, 1741b; average, 34.8; fat, 6JIb; average, 1.251b. Pen 1200: A. Lorie, 1841b, 36.81b, 6|lb, 1.351b. Pen 1201: F. E. Ross, 1641b, 32.81b, SJIb, I.llb. Pen 1202; Goowdin Bros., 1511b, 30.21b, 61b, 1.21b. Pen 1203: Goodwin Broos., 1591b, 31.81b, 61b, 1.21b. Pen 1204: Goodwin Bros., 1651b, 331b, silb, 1.051b. Pen No. 1205: W. Chitty, 1541b, 30.81b, 61b, 1.21b. Pen 1206: W. Chitty, 1531b, 30.61b, 61b, 1.21b. Pen 1207: R. P. Bollard, 1671b, 33.41b, 6ilb, 1.31b. Pen 1208: A. J. Melville, 1611b, 32.21b, 431b, ,951b. At the Show the lambs were placed :-Pen 1200 Ist, 1204 2nd, 1199 3rd and 1207 4th.
