A Barque Wrecked. Received 1.10 p.m., 14th. Adelaide, November 13. The harbourmaster at Kingston reported this morning that a threemasted vessel was aground half a mile from the shore thirty miles north of Kingston. A heavy sea and surf is running. A quantity of wreckage was washed ashore. After reporting the Kingston postmaster left the office and details therefore are unavailable. A lifeboat from Victor harbour left early for the scene of the wreck, a sixty miles’ journey. It is supposed the vessel is (he Norwegian barque Mardit, which sailed from Victor harbour on Friday for England with a cargo of 23,385 bags of wheat shipped by Cave and Company. Professional Running. Received 9.15 a.m., 14th. Melbourne, November 14. Donaldson and Postle ran three extraordinarily brilliant championship sprints. Postle won the 80 yards by a foot in 7 4-ssec. They were even to 50 yards when Postle broke away suddenly and Donaldson was unable to catch him. Donaldson won the 100 yards by six inches in 9 3-5 sec. Tho men were even to 50 yards when Postle again broke away, the champion overhauling him on the post. In the 110 yards Postle looked safe at the 100, when Donaldson with a tremendous effort won by four inches in 10 4-ssec.

An Unpopular Sister. Received 9.15 a.m., 14th. Adelaide, November 14. The hospital nurses again demand an inquiry into the conduct of Sister Dunsten against whom twenty-nine charges were made. They have received a telegram from the Sydney Nurses and Asylum Employees’ Union offering to support them morally and financially.
