Lord Ranfurly was bred at n Levin State Farm, Wellington, and is i beautiful brown, standing over 17 hands high on short legs, with good bone, possessing a beautiful temper, and is a sure foal - getter. This horse has gained honours wherever shown, viz.: Ist prize Palmerston, 2nd prize Christchurch, and Ist prize at Taneatua, beating Greenhill Laddie (a horse that gained Ist and Champion at the Auckland A. and P. Show). A study of this horse’s breeding shows that he has descended from a line of champions, and should be worthy of all breeders’ consideration. Terms: Single mare £3 10s, two or more £3 ss.
