At the opening ceremony of the Kouhaix Exhibition on Sunday, sth May, H. C. Cameron (Produce Commissioner) represented the New Zealand Government, and in the course of the speeches complimentary references were made to the progress, both social and industrial, of the Dominion. M. Eugtn Mahon, president of the Organisation Committee, asked Mr Cameron to convey their cordial thanks to the High Commissioner for the kindly manner in which the Dominion had supported the Exhibition. The New Zealand display will he thoroughly representative of the commercial and industrial life of the country. Mr W. H. Alington lias been placed in charge of the section, which is rapidly nearing completion. The large refrigeration plant will he ready in the course of the next ten days.
