INVERCARGILL WOOL SALE. By Telgeraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. At the third and last wool sale 2128 bales were offered. The finer grade wool had been disposed of at the previous sales, and today’s lots were chiefly comprised of coarser varieties, from stagglers in many instances. The wool was not so clean as earlier shorn lots. Despite these drawbacks the prices realised showed a rise of from id to Id per lb, and even up to IJd in a few instances, as compared with the highly satisfactory figures secured at sale. Medium and inferior wool, which at last sale fetched 9id to IOJd, today brought up to and lid was a fairly general figure.
