Wedding at Hamilton.
LATHAM—MAGUIRE. A quiet and pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, yesterday morning, when Mr George Latham was joined I in the bonds of matrimony to Miss ; Margaret, youngest daughter of Mrs | I’. Maguire, lute of Auckland. The | Rev. Father Darby officiated. The I bride, who was given away by her I brother in law, Mr J. H. McMahon, ! was prettily attired in a richly trimj med dove coloured Empire gown, and I wore a large white picture hat. She : was attended by her cousin, Miss May I Peterson, of Auckland, who wore a dainty cream frock and floral trimmed hat. The bride and bridesmaid each carried a handsome ivory hacked j prayer book, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr E. Maguire acted as best man. After the wedding ceremony the party drove to the residence of Mr McMahon, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was laid.
