HAMILTON DOMAIN FINANCE.

To the Editor. Sir, —I notice in your report of the meeting of the Hamilton Domain Board last night that the Board were not ■able to purchase a reaper for use on Steele and Seddon Parks for the convenience of cricketers, which was offered at £7, yet they can, in the face of public opinion, arrange for the chairman and Mr J. A. Young —an aspirant for the Mayoralty—to go to Wellington at the expense of the Board. This is only another instance of the great interest they take in putting the recreation grounds to their legitimate use. I am, etc., CRICKETER.
