This iiorse was bred by the well-known breeders, Messrs Ellis Bros., of Bulls, Rangitikei, and was not by their famous purebred imported Hackney Stallion Galantine, whose stock are making such record prices. Killeymoon Swell's dam, Meg, by Bedouin, is recognised to be one of the best thoroughbreds that ever stood in Rangitikei. Galantine is the first registered hackney that ever came to the North Island, and, coming as he does from heavy prize-winners on both sides, he is stamping his stcck as a purebred hackney should. Killeymoon Swell comes from famous jumping strains on his dam's side, and has already shown his desire to follow in the footsteps of his ancestors. He is particularly well grown, and has any amount of style and action, combined with first-class feet and bone of the best quality. Coming from sound parents on both sides, he is equally clean himself. Particulars as to route and terms later.
